Top Google Web Fonts
January 3, 2013

Google Web Fonts has become one of the leading choices for embedding custom fonts on websites. With more 600 fonts to choose from, it can be a daunting task browsing through a directory of that size and trying to filter out only the best.

In search of the right typefaces for our own projects, we came across some stunning web fonts and wanted to share them with you.

Arvo
Arvo is a slab serif typeface that’s best suited for screen and print. The font family includes 4 styles, including Roman, Italic, Roman Bold, and Bold Italic.

Bree Serif
Bree Serif, a sister font to Bree (sans serif) font, became an instant hit for its versatility. With a polished modern look, it works very well with branding and headlines in print and screen mediums.

Cabin
Inspired by Edward Johnston’s and Eric Gill’s typefaces, Cabin has been described as humanist sans typeface that incorporates a touch a modernism, while maintaining its roots. Cabin is an Impallari Type font that comes in 4 weights and 8 style families.

There are more beautiful fonts introduced in […]

Avada Theme | ThemeForest

Live Preview

I recently purchased this Avada theme from ThemeForest.
I paid $45 which is not a small amount. So I had to think a lot. Because there are thousands of free theme online.
There are 3 reasons to made me to purchase.

1. Customer Support
     I’m not a WordPress super user. I’m still at learning stage and I still got a lot to learn. Help support is very important for me.
     Well you can say that there are tons of WordPress Forums that you can ask for help but as long as I stay with one theme for a while,
     why not use a forum specific to one theme that I currently use?
     And oh!! I’m not really good at waiting things… so impatient.

1) Forum Support

     I don’t get the answers right after I put my Questions on the forum but it didn’t take more than a day to get the answers most of the
     time. So I’m happy with their customer service.

2) YouTube Video Lecture
     ThemeFusion’s Avada theme Lecture

2. Always updated
     I didn’t want to stay with the old version of the theme which hasn’t been updated for 2 years. Well they might seem to work well but I
     wanted to have my theme updated all the time. And didn’t want to look for the other one for the better function and reinstall my
     theme again.

3. Quality
     Avada theme has […]

After compile HashMap will save data as below

Key               Value
Ryan            1234
David           1357

I put David’s value twice. First 5678 then 1357. David 5678 (Key : Value) exists already so it will be overwritten by 2nd David 1357 (Key : Value)

Map allows duplication for the Values but not for the Key.

Java | Generate Lotto Numbers

HasSet doesn’t allow duplicated values. So this is the code to generate Lotto Numbers.

import java.util.*;
class HashSetLotto {
public static void main (String[] args) {
Set set = new HashSet();
for (int i=0; set.size() <6; i++) {
int num = (int) (Math.random() * 40) + 1;
set.add(new Integer(num));
}
List list = new LinkedList(set); //LinkedList (Collection c)
Collections.sort(list); // Collections.sort(List list) numbers generated will be in order.
System.out.println(list);

14-Year-Old Prodigy Programmer Dreams In Code

14 Year Old. Dreams in code.

Fourteen-year-old programmer and software developer Santiago Gonzalez might just be the next Steve Jobs. He already has 15 iOS apps to his name and dreams of designing for Apple. At age 12, Santiago became a full-time college student and is on track to earn his bachelor’s degree in computer science and electrical engineering by age 16. By 17, when most teenagers are excited to just have their driver’s license, Santiago will have his masters degree.
A self-professed computer nerd, Santiago is fluent in a dozen different programming languages and thousands of people have downloaded his apps for the Mac, iPhone and iPad.

Learn how Santiago’s parents overcame a rigid school system that left their son intellectually stifled and depressed and instead followed an unconventional pathway to nurture his incredible gifts. Santiago’s story is truly inspiring and his family’s experience provides a powerful model for parents of exceptionally gifted children.
